My life with two kids!!

This past week has been crazy!! I have not been able to get it together since we have been home from the hospital. Larissa has been pushing her luck so much it isn't funny. She has been telling me I am mean and yelling at me and when I tell her to do something she will look at me and tell me no you do it. I know that she is getting a little jealous and I am trying to included her in everything as much as possible but I cant seem to make her totally happy. As for Layla things are getting easier. Because she came so prematurely she is having a hard time feeding. She is getting better at it though. It is hard to juggle the attention between two children especially when one has had ALL of the attention for more than two years now. I know that things will get easier but it is so hard waiting for that time to get here.

Well its a month early but my Layla is here!! She was born Sunday May 10,2009 at 12:14am at Willis Knighton South. I got my first ambulance ride that night which was crazy, but the doctors wanted to be safe than sorry because we were delivering so early. I ended up having fluid everywhere from my head to my feet and it was harmful to both me and the baby. We were suppossed to be discharged Wednesday but when I woke up that morning I was not feeling good at all and ended up that my oxygen levels were so low that I was having trouble getting any kind of air in at all. The doctors then kept me until Friday and then finally I was able to leave the hospital and go home. Larissa is a wonderful big sister and is wanting to help me do everything from feeding to changing her diaper. I am glad that both myself and Layla are at home and healthy

Appointment 32 weeks

Well we went today and got some really good pictures. Larissa was so cute because when I showed them two her she got this big grin on her face and kept saying mommy thats my little sister Layla and showing the pictures to everyone she could see. Layla is 6 pounds now which means that they are estimating her to weigh in the ten to twelve pound range. My blood pressure was a little high so I have to go back tomorrow to check my blood pressure again. I hope that I can hold out for just a few more weeks because I have to finish this semester of school. If my blood pressure stays high the doctor will most definitely want to put me on bed rest. I will post and let everyone know what happens tomorrow.

Layla Michelle

Well I went to the doctor last Wednesday for my 30 week checkup and that went well. The doctor said that they are going to do an ultrasound at 32 weeks to see how big Layla is and to see what we are looking at for the c date. I have only gained 18 pounds which is great compared to my pregnancy with Larissa where my weight skyrocketed like crazy!!! It is so crazy that I will be going into the hospital in 7 weeks to have this baby. It feels like just yesterday that I got the shock of my life and found out that I was pregnant again. My worries have turned into excitement these past few months and even though I am nervous I am ready for the challenge and I am ready to be a mommy again. This baby has done so much and she has not even come out yet. Larissa is wearing panties on a daily basis because she is not the baby she is the big sister and only Layla should wear diapers. Larissa kisses my belly and talks to her sister like she is right there telling her how she is going to help me change her diapers and give her bottles. The sweetest thing that my baby can d is to say I'm your big sister and I love you and I cant wait for you to get here. I am so happy that my family is growing and going through so many positive changes. Oh and the classes that I needed are offered which means that keeps my graduation date set for Fall 2010 and when that happens I know that I will be able to begin providing for my girls the way that I need to then as soon as possible when their daddy gets done we will be able to have a perfect life where all of our time is spent taking care of our children!!! Were having a......

GIRL!!! The baby was as healthy as can be at 20 weeks. THe ultrasound checked out her lungs kidneys and everything else and she is growing perfectly. The baby is almost at 1 pound. They weighed me and I have actully lost 3 pounds so that brings my grand total to 5 pounds that I have gained as of almost 5 months pregnant. I have the pics of the baby with me at work so I will put them up as soon as possible. We will be coming up with a name soon, so as soon as I know I will let yall know.

Doc Appointment 12/17/08

Well I went to the doctor today for my 14 week checkup. I was so proud of myself because in almost 4 months I have only gained 1 pound. That is excellent!!! I listened to the baby's heartbeat today and it ranged between 140 to 145 bpm. I head back to the doctor in 4 weeks on the 16th of January and then two more weeks after that I head back to the doctor for my ultrasound to see the sex of the baby.

And Finals have Begun!!

Well finals are here and it is crazy because it seems like this semester has just began.... what happened to the last four months!! Well I took my first final last Friday and I did pretty good on it. I ended up making a "B" on the final and in the class which makes me happy. I am taking my second final this afternoon at 3 and that is my methods reading and writing class. I have worked so hard in there and I hope that my teacher sees that I have been busting it to finish everything and do well in the class. My big resource unit that we have been working on all semester I ended up making a 95% on which really made me happy!!! After today I have a two day break and then off to math and astronomy. I will be so glad when this week is over because I will have a little break from school, but yay after this week I will be packing and getting ready to move because we only have three more weeks until we have to be completely out of our house so the demolition can begin!!! Well everyone pray for me that this next week runs smoothly and I end these classes with the best grades possible.
